Alexander Königs was born in 1966 in Diemelstadt-Rhoden, Germany. Today he lives and works in Paderborn, Germany.
At the University of Paderborn he graduated in arts and geography – an ideal prerequisite for his later work as painter of Panoramas.
An enormous contribution to his work and art arose from his friendship to the famous Austrian Panorama- painter and artist Prof. H.C. Berann, who Alexander Königs met at the age of 16.
Informative trips throughout the world, innumerable drawings of nature and a talent for detailed observation of the essential and fundamental forms of
nature are the foundation for his current artistic work which, besides his Panorama painting focuses on classical and free arts.
Meanwhile Alexander Königs has produced numerous great Panorama-sceneries not only in Germany but also in Spain, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia,
Saudi-Arabia and USA. He also works for Japanese publishers.
In addition to his passion for fine arts Alex is composing new-age and world-music in his studio.
