The Australian Panoramic Map will be available in March 2005. It is being created by the German Panorama-artist and geographer Alexander Königs on the basis of numreous types of maps, satellite-images, elevation models and aerial images. After two years work the Panorama Map is now available. Printed as a high quality-poster it is unique and a product without competition in entire Australia

The idea and the philosophy of my maps is based upon the question: ”Did you ever really feel the beauty of nature in a map?” My answer is    “No, - there´s always one dimension missing!”

What I want to show in my maps is more than just geographic information like roads, cities, national parks etc.: I want to let you feel the fresh green of the forests, the dusty red of the deserts the clear depth of the ocean floor by observing  the essential and fundamental forms of nature in an exact 3-dimensional view.
